 How to create Round tube flattened state in solidworks

    It's a straight round tube to connect to the slot.We will use the basic surface commands to create this model

Step #1.Create a sketch on the front plane and Extrude it. The dimensions are shown below:

Step #2.Create a sketch on the front plane,The dimensions are shown below:

Step #3. Extruded Boss/Base--offset:100,

Step #4.Create the following spline curve on the Top plane and set the constraints for tangency

Step #5.Create the following spline curve on the Right plane and set the constraints for tangency

Step #6. Lofted Boss/Base  

Step #7. Shell--2mm

Step #8.Finish
